Having initially gone into the pet care business in 2000, Safe & Hound in its present form came about in 2003 after moving from Maidenhead to Lincolnshire and finding that there was a call for our services wherever you are and this now makes us the oldest established pet care business in the area. We are now looking to expand both locally and across the UK and find like-minded people and families to provide our professional caring services for all your pets.

Bertie is a 13 year old Yorkshire Terrier and for the last few years has been staying at Safe & Hound when we are away on holiday. We are totally happy in the knowledge that staying with Sharon is just like being at home for him. He enjoys his frequent walks with his best friend Nobby and loves the fact that Sharon & Gareth make him a part of the family. We would not have him stay anywhere else and are confident any pets staying at Safe & Hound are sure to enjoy themselves. For a worry free holiday we cannot think of a better place for a pet to stay.

Many thanks for once again looking after our cats whilst we have been away. I have attached a photo of them sunning themselves on the decking last summer. It gives us great peace of mind whilst we are away to know that they are being well cared for. It is also very important to us to know that someone is coming in each day picking up the mail as well as checking that all is well. The contented look on their faces certainly lets us know that they have been well looked after. It is also important, we think, that for the duration of the holiday they have been on their own territory. We know from some of your other clients that your liaison with the local veterinary services is important. So once again many thanks for your help and support over the last year. Since I have moved to the area Safe & Sound have been brilliant and I really couldn't of done without them. Its complete peace of mind knowing that when I am at work my dogs are taken out for a lovely walk and brought back safe and tired. Nothing is ever too much trouble and, most importantly, my dogs absolutely love them. I highly recommend them.
