Having initially gone into the pet care business in 2000, Safe & Hound in its present form came about in 2003 after moving from Maidenhead to Lincolnshire and finding that there was a call for our services wherever you are and this now makes us the oldest established pet care business in the area. We are now looking to expand both locally and across the UK and find like-minded people and families to provide our professional caring services for all your pets.
The idea originally came about because I wasn't happy to put my dog in kennels and wanted him to have a holiday as well as me, but when I looked around there did not seem to be any other options and so the idea started. It has now grown from just doing dogs to doing all sorts of pets from fish to horses. Cat owners like the fact that they haven't got to fight the cat to take it to the cattery and that somebody is coming in not only to look after their animals but also to check on the house.
The business has now grown and we now find ourselves taking on staff and increasing the areas we cover and providing an ever increasing range of professional pet care services to a variety of clients of which a high number repeatedly use us and recommend us throughout the year.
In our experience all animals prefer to stay at home in their own environment and owners find they have peace of mind knowing that their pets and homes are safe and secure and that all this can take place with just a phone call.
We now get recommendations from vets, dog behaviourists, dog trainers, pet shops and groomers knowing that we give a fully insured, secure, professional and reliable service with fully trained uniformed staff who have you and your pets best interests at heart.
